I invited my girlfriend Lori Wylie, to join Katy Grimes and myself for lunch at a restaurant in downtown Sacramento. Katy appeared to be a very professional reporter. She was very intuitive about the legal nonsense that had surrounded this crime. She might have even mentioned that she was once married to an attorney and said that she even knew some of the names I had dropped in the course of the conversation. I assumed by the title of her article The Truth Matters, that everything that she was telling us was the truth.
After sharing with her the overall crux of my father's story, which was the incredible Raley's success story as well as the crimes that were committed against him by Raley's, the law firm of Downey, Brand, Seymour and Rohwer, the Judge Joe Gray and others, she didn't wink an eye about hesitating to report on this story.
Since she showed so much enthusiasm about this story, I even loaned her a copy of my father's book:
"Raley's Exposed-Who on Earth Saved Raley's".
There were only three other people in Sacramento who had copies of this book, Joyce Raley Teel, KCRA3 Stan Atkinson and the Sacramento Business Journal.
But every news person in Sacramento had access to it.
"See no evil, hear no evil, write no evil, speak no evil"
