It wasn't just KCRA3 that was suppressing the Raley's crime story, it was all the news.

They all thought that they were doing their big advertiser a tremendous "customer service". And they were!

Had they reported this Raley's crime story, it might have put the Raley's Supermarkets chain out of business.

The Raley's advertising budget and their friendship with Tom Raley and the Teel family was far more important than the hidden crime committed against a man they didn't know, the same man who made the Raley's name remain in existence, and the same man who created all of the Raley's advertising budget for over 50 years.

When KCRA3 decided to join forces with Raley's and the Teel's, they also became partners and complicit in Raley's crime.
